Vacancies

This page contains all necessary information if you are interested in working in the Swiss Federal Audit Office. The SFAO is also on the social network LinkedIn.

Seven good reasons why we could be the right employer for you:

  1. Your work is important for the successful Swiss model. You work for the federal government’s supreme financial supervisory body and help to ensure that taxpayers’ money is put to good use.
  2. Your work is extremely varied. Cybersecurity, demographic change, public transport – you can work on any number of different audit topics. We also audit international organisations and have very good connections with international specialist bodies.
  3. Your work is visible. It is not put in a drawer and forgotten about. Most of our reports are published and discussed in the public domain.
  4. Independence is key. We are guided by the assessment of risks. We do not accept audit mandates from individual politicians, offices or departments.
  5. For us, “small in size, big in impact” is more than just a slogan. We have short lines of communication and clear structures, and professional excellence is a given. Continuous professional development is a top priority. You will have the opportunity to progress with us.
  6. There is a good work-life balance. While we work hard in a fast-paced environment, our binding annual programme and flexible working hours with additional holidays ensure a good balance.
  7. You can look forward to working with your colleagues. We never confuse seriousness with boredom. You will encounter a lot of helpful people and opportunities for friendly dialogue both at work and outside the office.
Ideally located: The Swiss Federal Audit Office is located in the heart of Bern, not far from the main railway station.
