Certificate of Advanced Studies: Public Sector Audit & Oversight
The «CAS Public sector audit and oversight» brings together the many years of expertise of the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP) and the SFAO. The programme focuses on the (higher) supervision and auditing of public services at all federal levels.
It follows the principle of «academia meets practice» and is aimed at managers, specialists in financial supervision and auditing, as well as anyone interested from the world of politics, public services and the media.
Participants can choose to attend only one of the four four-day seminars. A certificate is awarded to those who successfully complete three of the following four seminars:
- Performance auditing and evaluation (PEEV 3–4 and 10–11 April 2025 in Lausanne)
- Financial supervision in the public sector (FINS 5–6 June and 19–20 June 2025 in Solothurn)
- Auditing organisation and management (ORMA 09–10 and 23–24 October 2025 in Solothurn)
- Auditing the digital transformation (DIGT 3–4 November and 1–2 December 2025 in Lausanne)
The seminars in Lausanne will be held in French, and those in Solothurn in German. You can expect presentations from knowledgeable and committed experts from public services at all federal levels. It is possible to attend all seminars in only one language within two years.
